Jesus in the Quran – Give Light video

The Quran actually talks about Jesus, but it does not recognize Jesus as the Son of God, nor the Savior of humanity from their sins and separation from God.

What the Quran DOES say, however, might surprise you.

Two Trees

–

“The Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.  

“Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

— Genesis 2: 8-9 —

Here’s a fun one for ya…

In the garden of Eden God planted two trees – The tree of the knowledge of good & evil and The tree of life.  

Of these two trees God warned Adam and Eve not to eat from only one — the tree of the knowledge of good and evil — for the day they ate from it, they would surely die.  (See Gen 2:17…”from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”)

However, regarding the tree of life, God gave Adam and Eve the freedom to eat from it as often as they wanted.  (See Gen 2:16… “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely…”) 

Consequently, the serpent (Satan) only deceived Eve to see that the fruit on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was good for food, and she was enticed to take and give to her husband who was with her, so both of them would eat from the specific tree of which God commanded them not to eat.

Why did the serpent (Satan) never make an attempt to have Adam or Eve eat from the tree of life?

What was so different about the tree of life?

Wouldn’t Satan desire to have Adam and Eve eat from the Tree of Life first, and then have them eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

If so, and Adam and Eve ate from the tree of life first, wouldn’t humanity have lived forever in a state of separation from God and never had been saved by God?

Wouldn’t Satan have won, and God’s warning to Adam where He said: “…the day you eat from it you shall surely die” have been false and made God a liar?

Furthermore, if Satan had Adam and Eve eat from the tree of life before the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God would never have sent Jesus to die for mankind because death would not have been part of humanity. 

That means, the world would never have been created By Jesus, For Jesus and Through Jesus.

So…

Did Satan have any free will over which of the two trees he would entice Eve and Adam to eat from? 

Furthermore, what about Adam and Eve — did they have a free will to choose to obey or disobey?

— OR?? — 

Was Satan and Adam and Eve just following God’s eternal plan so that Adam and Eve would eat the fruit from the ONLY tree God told them not to eat from because He ordained the entire narrative before He ever spoke the words: “let there be light”?

Just something to consider.

If God performs an action, who can reverse it?  If God makes a plan, who can change or prevent it?

Deut 32:39 – ‘See now that I, I am He, and there is no god besides Me; it is I who put to death and give life.  I have wounded and it is I who heal, and there is no one who can deliver from My hand.

Isaiah 43:13 – “Even from eternity I am He, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?”

Revelation 22: 1-5 –  “Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.  And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.”

Jesus vs. Muhammad – Give Light Youtube Video

The author of this video does a great job explaining that Jesus and Muhammad are two distinctly different men, and that Jesus was sent from God, but Muhammad was not.
